Hello all,
I don't have much time this week but life continues to go well here in the land of Texas.Yesterday Sister Christensen and I met a lady named Ginger Griggs. Missionaries have taught her before but they stopped and wrote her down in our area book. We were looking through it and figured we'd stop by to meet her.
She was/is really sweet and asked us inside before we could introduce ourselves. We got to know her a little bit and she told us she has a desire to learn more about the gospel but she said she's not going to convert....We'll see about that:) Through talking with her it turns out that she has family members who are in our ward. Her granddaughter is 12 years old and she comes to visit her all the time so she wants to learn more about the things she's learning. We're hoping that her desire to learn will also help her to gain a testimony for herself.
The temperature is rising and I was a little disappointed when someone told us that summer officially started a couple of days ago. It's been hot since April! People here have been really good about offering us something to drink and I've been really good at giving them an opportunity to serve us by always accepting:)
Other then that I can't thing of anything else that's happened this week. Promise my next e-mail will be longer. Have a wonderful week.
Love you guys,
Sister Green
P.S. Sister Christensen and I are staying together for another transfer:) Our first one was tough but I was praying that we'd stay together for at least one more so it'll be good. Love ya
